Here are the kids (4 couples) of Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll Irish Association who are going to go to Sochi (Russian) to represent Ireland and DanceSport Federation of Ireland at the European Championship and World Cup in Sochi Open - 2021 (26-27 of June, Olympic Park) in the discipline Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll.
Here they are: Children Category (up to 12 years old): Turek Filip and Baksalary Anastazja
Juveniles Category (up to 14 years old): Muzyk Mikolaj and Muzyk Maja
Juniors Category (up to 17 years old): Witkowski Oliwier and Zdrzalik Nikola Jarosz Denis and Wiecek Justyna
Long time past since the last real-life competition and kids are working hard to be ready to represent Ireland and looking forward to take part in the first competition after lockdown. It was a difficult time because every athlete (even if they are kids but they are real athletes already) needs competitions and need a place to show what they achieved and worked for but we are happy that now we have an opportunity to get back to normal life!
Kids were born in Poland but grew up in Ireland and have been living here for almost all their life and doing Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll for more than 5 years. All of them took part in World Rock-n-roll Confederation (WRRC) Online World Cups during the lockdown time and Filip and Anastazja and Oliwier and Nikola are now in top 10 couples of the Online World Cup Ranking list so they want so much to represent themselves at the real-life competition and show that Ireland shows good results in this difficult, dynamic and exciting kind of sport.
Taking part in 2021 European Championship and World Cup in Russia is a huge challenge because of very expensive tickets, visas and long trip in general but we try our best to make it happen.
And now we want to ask all of you to help our team to take part in this huge competition and international event and represent Ireland in Russia. We are grateful for any help - donation and sharing!
