The best athletes from more than 20 countries took part in this event.
And Ireland was represented by 4 our couples.
It was such an amazing feeling to came back to the dance floor after such a long break.
Ireland is a new country in this sport but our young athletes showed different but great results.
The biggest success showed our "Beaty and the Beast" Oliwier Witkowski and Nikola Zdrzalik in Juniors category (under 17 years old). They took 8 place and just 0,5 point left to enter Finals. It was for the first time in a history that Irish couple was in Semi Final.
We are very proud of the kids and the work what was done! Bravo!
Also Filip Turek and Anastazja Baksalary in Children Category (under 12 years old) took 13 place and they were the only representatives of Europe in their category between the participant from Ukraine and Russia and they did great and also amazed everyone with their characters.
Miko and Maja Muzyk represented Ireland in Juveniles category (under 14 years old) with the greatest number of couples in the category and took 50 place. After the first round they were at 32nd place but because some music mistake moved down a bit. It is competition and everything can happen but we will work more to decrease those mistakes possibilites. We are very happy and proud with the progress they did and with each next competition things will get better and better!
The newest couple at this competition was Denis Jarosz and Justyna Wiecek in Juniors Category. It was their first time dancing together at the competition and first time ever in a couple for Justyna. They took 40 place. Well done! And it is just the begining!
Nothing can replace real life competitions and we are very happy to get a chance to be there again!
The trip was tough but it was worth it definitely!
Because besides great results we also enjoyed the time spent with all our international friends, sea, roller coaster park, tasty food and amazing weather.
One more time congratulations to all the team, coaches and of course parents!
And now it's time for some vacations!
